Here’s the
survey approach or, the project analyst.
“Can you help me out I’m
working on a project.”
1.
Where are you on your
spiritual journey? (or) What is
happening spiritually in your life?
Are not all of us on a spiritual journey of some
sort?
2.
If you died tonight, are you
100% sure that you will go to heaven?
3.
If you were to die tonight
and you would stand in front of God, and He asked: “Why should I
let you into My heaven?” what would you tell Him?
We will have to
give an account of our lives before God one day. See Matt 7:21-23
and Hebrew 9:27
4.
When you die what do you
think is on the other side? What do you think is out there when
you walk out of here! Then ask where do they get your information
from?
5.
Why do you wear that cross?
T shirt, jewelry, tattoo, etc. Look good? Do you know
that someone died on that cross!” no! Did you know that the cross
is an instrument of death?” no! “Would you wear an electric chair
around your neck?”
6.
Do you want to go to heaven?
Then follow up with “do you know how to get there?” Can I show you how to get
there?
7.
What is the most important
thing in the world to you? On the day you die, what do you think
will be the most important thing to you? What do people value in
life? Shouldn’t it be where you are going? Use word pictures. Like
the security tag in a shop and the one in heaven.
(Need
sometimes to talk about relative versus absolute truth. It does
not matter what you believe, it matters only what is true. It’s
not just as long as you think something is true that it makes it
true! The truth is independent of what someone believes it to be!
Example: Adolf Hitler killed 6miljon of God’s chosen people. So as
long as he believed in his heart that it was an ok thing to do
then it was definitely ok to do, wasn’t it?” There must be
absolute truth. Absolute truth can only be found in Scripture. Or,
in what situation is rape okay? Think about it? Since it is wrong
for all in all places at all times then “rape is wrong” would be
an absolute truth. And if one there cannot be two, or three, etc.
Many wrong answers only one right answer!)
